kwuftpd 0.2.0
(c) 2000 Red Hat, Inc., written by Bernhard Rosenkraenzer <bero@redhat.com>

1. What is kwuftpd?
=====================
kwuftpd is a KDE front-end to editing wu-ftpd's ftpaccess files.
kwuftpd 0.2.0 was originally written for BeroFTPD 1.2.1 and has been adapted
to the version of wu-ftpd 2.6.1 found in Red Hat Linux 7.0.
If you are using a newer version of wu-ftpd with more features, you'll have
to update your kwuftpd (or edit ftpaccess by hand) to make use of them.
WARNING: kwuftpd is still beta; you'd better make a backup copy of your
ftpaccess file before editing it with kwuftpd.

2. What do I need to run kwuftpd?
===================================
- A unix system (Linux 2.2 and FreeBSD 4.0-CURRENT are the main development
  platforms; other platforms should work without or with only minor changes)
- KDE (You should have KDE 2.0 or higher; older versions may or may not
  work)
  If you need to update, go to http://www.kde.org/
- QT (Tested with qt 2.2.1; older versions may or may not work)
  If you need to update, check ftp://ftp.troll.no/qt
- an ftpd that can handle the generated ftpaccess files - kwuftpd was
  written for wu-ftpd 2.6.1.
  (ftp://ftp.wu-ftpd.org/pub/wu-ftpd/)
  You can use the files with wu-ftpd 2.5.0, as well - but don't expect
  all features to work.
- If you are building from source, an ANSI compatible C++ compiler.

3. I think I've found a bug...
==============================
First, make sure the bug is still present in the most current version. It
can be downloaded from any server carrying KDE CVS snapshots.

If the problem persists, send a bug report to bero@redhat.com, including a
detailed description of your problem (and if possible a fix)
